Requirements & Training Information

General Requirements

  • Must be 18 years or older (16-17 with parental consent)
  • Commitment to Islamic values of compassion, service, and integrity
  • Ability to work respectfully with diverse community members
  • Reliable transportation to volunteer locations
  • Clear background check (for certain positions)

Training Program

Orientation Session

2-hour introduction to our mission, values, and volunteer policies

Role-Specific Training

4-8 hours of specialized training based on your chosen volunteer area

Ongoing Support

Monthly check-ins and additional training opportunities

Safety Training

Basic first aid and safety protocols for all volunteers
