Kakwanga Islamic Relief is committed to transparency, fairness, and customer satisfaction. This policy outlines the conditions under which refunds, returns, and exchanges are processed for goods and services provided by the organization.
You may return items within 30 days of purchase. After this period, we cannot offer a full refund or exchange.
To qualify for a return:
Items must be unused, in original condition, and in original packaging.
A receipt or proof of purchase is required.
Certain items cannot be returned:
Perishable goods (e.g. food, flowers, newspapers, magazines)
Intimate or sanitary products
Hazardous materials
Flammable liquids or gases
Additional non-returnable items:
Gift cards
Downloadable software
Select health and personal care items
Partial refunds may be granted for:
Books with signs of use
Opened CDs, DVDs, software, or vinyl records
Items not in original condition or missing parts not due to our error
Items returned more than 30 days after delivery
Once your return is received and inspected:
You’ll receive an email confirming receipt.
We’ll notify you of approval or rejection.
Approved refunds are processed within 5–10 business days, credited to your original payment method.
If your refund hasn’t arrived:
Check your bank account.
Contact your credit card company—it may take time to post.

Only regular-priced items are eligible for refunds. Sale items are non-refundable.
We replace items only if they are defective or damaged. To request an exchange:

If the item was marked as a gift and shipped directly to you:
You’ll receive a gift credit for the return value.
A gift certificate will be mailed once the item is received.
If the item was not marked as a gift or shipped to the gift giver:
The refund will be issued to the gift giver.

You are responsible for return shipping costs.
Shipping costs are non-refundable.
If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted.
For high-value items, consider trackable shipping or shipping insurance.
