Kakwanga Islamic Relief is a registered Community-Based Organization (CBO) in Uganda, committed to uplifting vulnerable groups through humanitarian aid, empowerment, and sustainable development.

Comments

When visitors leave comments on the site, we collect the data shown in the comments form, along with the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help with spam detection.

An anonymized string (hash) created from your email address may be sent to the Gravatar service to check if you are using it. The Gravatar privacy policy is here: https://automattic.com/privacy/. After approval, your profile picture may be visible to the public alongside your comment.

Media

If you upload images, avoid uploading with embedded location data (EXIF GPS). Visitors can download and extract location data from images on the website.

• Comments and their metadata are retained indefinitely to recognize and approve follow-ups automatically.

• For registered users, personal information is stored in their user profile. Users may view, edit, or delete their information anytime (except usernames).

• Website administrators can also view and edit this information.

What rights you have over your data

• Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you

• Correct inaccuracies

• Request deletion of your data (where legally permitted)

• Request data portability in a machine-readable format
