• Donation Update: $50,000 USD required to Renovate and Shutter a School

Access to clean water is a basic human right, yet many families in Kameruka still rely on contaminated sources for drinking, cooking, and hygiene. This leads to widespread illness, missed school days, and increased mortality—especially among children. Kakwanga Islamic Relief addresses this urgent need through our Clean Water Access initiative, constructing wells and boreholes in underserved areas. These projects are part of our Sadaqah Jariyah program, offering donors the opportunity to leave a lasting legacy of compassion and health.

Each water project begins with a thorough assessment of community needs, water table depth, and sustainability. Once a site is selected, we work with skilled technicians to drill boreholes and install hand pumps or solar-powered systems. We also train local residents in maintenance and hygiene practices to ensure long-term functionality. The result is a reliable source of clean water that serves schools, mosques, and hundreds of households—transforming daily life and improving public health.

The benefits of clean water are immediate and far-reaching. Children stay healthy and attend school regularly. Women no longer spend hours fetching water, freeing time for education and income-generating activities. Entire communities experience a rise in dignity, safety, and opportunity. With your support, we can expand our reach and bring clean water to every corner of Budaka District. Every drop counts—and every donation helps it flow.
