We serve vulnerable populations including orphans, widows, and impoverished families in Kameruka, Baudaka District, Eastern Uganda. Our work is rooted in the Islamic principles of compassion, justice, and service to humanity. Our story!

Kakwanga Islamic Relief was born from a deep commitment to serve the most vulnerable members of our community. Founded in the heart of Eastern Uganda, our organization emerged from witnessing the daily struggles of orphans, widows, and impoverished families in our region. Guided by the Islamic principle of Zakat and the spirit of community solidarity, our founders recognized that sustainable change requires more than temporary relief — it demands comprehensive support that empowers communities to build their own path to prosperity.
